What is your return policy at the gift shop?

Items purchased at the gift shop can be returned within 30 days of purchase as long as you have the original receipt and packaging.

What protections do you have in place for COVID?

Our brand-new HVAC system is equipped to handle the number of people we expect in our spaces at any given moment. Additionally, our staff and our visitors will be asked to follow the current New York State COVID guidelines.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Does my child need a ticket?

Children under 4 years old can visit INTER for free. Anyone aged 4 and up requires a ticket.

Can I get a refund or change my booking date if I am unable to join at my reserved time?

While we do not offer refunds, we will on occasion make exceptions for rebooking. Please contact Inter.NYC@interiam.co to reschedule your booking. Please note, additional fees may apply, pending the date and time of your rescheduled reservation.

The entrance is located on the south-west side of Canal Street, between the N,Q,R,W subway stairs.

How long does the INTER experience take?

Most guests spend 45 minutes to an hour exploring the space, but your visit length is entirely up to you.

If you believe you’ve lost an item, contact Inter.NYC@interiam.co with the date of your visit and a description of the item. We keep most items (except perishables) for 30–60 days.

INTER does not offer parking. However, several parking lots are within walking distance, and free street parking may be available on weekends.

What subway lines are close to INTER?

Just outside our doors, you can ride the N, Q, R, and W lines, and the 6 line is only one block away. Two blocks away, you can find the J and Z station. Additionally, the A, C, E, and 1 trains all stop at Canal Street within walking distance of INTER.

INTER is an intergalactic adventure with 10+ immersive exhibitions and zones. At INTER, you’re not just looking at space; you’re falling into it. Climb through cosmic terrain, wander alien worlds, and come face-to-face with the mysteries of the universe. How old do you have to be to go on the net?

Everyone over the age of 4 is allowed on the net.

Are there any flashing lights to know about?

Yes, some sections of INTER use strobe and flashing lights, which may trigger seizures for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy. Please inform a team member upon arrival if you have light sensitivities, and we will guide you safely.

There is some seating throughout the INTER exhibits, but visitors should be prepared to wander and explore for the entire experience.

Yes, every guest must sign a liability waiver to experience INTER. For guests under 18, a parent or guardian must sign on their behalf.
